Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has met with Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar in Baku to discuss their strategic alliance and energy agenda.

Operativ Media reports that the minister shared this on his social media account.

"We emphasized the importance of strengthening electricity cooperation in line with global trends such as digitalization and electrification. We evaluated the electricity connections of Nakhchivan and Georgia, green energy corridors, including the 'Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor'. We exchanged views on COP29 energy initiatives, their continuation at COP31, and expressed support for brotherly Turkey," the post said.
