Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has agreed to extend his contract with the club.

Operativ Media reports that journalist Fabrizio Romano has shared this information.

The 34-year-old Belgian's current contract runs until the end of the 2026/27 season. The new agreement will extend for at least one more season, remaining in effect until the summer of 2028.

Courtois has been playing for Real Madrid since the summer of 2018. He has made 338 appearances for the Madrid club across all competitions, keeping 130 clean sheets.

The Belgian goalkeeper has won the Spanish league title three times with Real Madrid. He has also won the UEFA Champions League twice, and the Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup three times each.

Courtois has also won the Spanish Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup once each.
