Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Giorgi Zakarashvili, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the importance of the ambassador's activities in further deepening the strategic partnership with Azerbaijan was emphasized.

Giorgi Zakarashvili will assume his duties as Georgia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 1.
