$6.3 billion in cryptocurrency stolen from Binance

A total of $6.3 billion in funds has been stolen from Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. Analysts say North Korea may be behind the attack.

Following the incident, cryptocurrency prices fell, and the exchange suspended withdrawals.

“Approximately $3 billion of the stolen funds have been frozen by stablecoin issuers. Binance announced that it will compensate customers for their losses and plans to resume withdrawal services within 45 hours,” the report noted.
