AC Milan owner holds talks to buy stake in Al-Nassr

Gerry Cardinale, head of the RedBird investment fund and owner of AC Milan, has confirmed preliminary talks to acquire a stake in Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

Operativ Media reports that Cardinale spoke about this in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

He stated that the negotiations are in their early stages. However, the businessman noted his interest in Cristiano Ronaldo and what role the Portuguese star might play at the club after retiring from his playing career.

“They contacted me to explore this opportunity. I am interested in understanding what Ronaldo wants to do after he finishes his playing career,” Cardinale said.

The businessman also emphasized that he will continue to consider multi-club projects. He currently owns AC Milan and Toulouse.
