Galatasaray interested in Zenit's Kazakh defender

Zenit center-back Nuraly Alip could continue his career at Turkish club Galatasaray.

Operativ Media reports that Turkish journalist Burak Enem shared the news on social media platform X. According to him, the Istanbul club began tracking the Kazakh footballer's performances after receiving a recommendation. It was noted that due to his citizenship, Alip would not be counted as a foreign player in the Turkish league.

The 26-year-old defender moved to Zenit from Kairat in February 2022. He has made 130 appearances for the Saint Petersburg side, scoring 3 goals, providing 1 assist, and receiving 15 yellow cards.

This season, Alip has played a total of 12 matches across the Russian championship and cup.

It should be noted that Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov currently plays for Galatasaray as well.
