Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan is committed to strengthening solidarity among Turkic states
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has addressed a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Ankara.
Jeyhun Bayramov shared a post about the meeting on his X account, Operativ Media reports.
The minister stated that during Azerbaijan's chairmanship following the Gabala Summit (2025), sustained efforts were made to deepen solidarity, strengthen cooperation, and expand economic and transport links among Turkic states.
He noted that cooperation advanced across various sectors, ranging from hosting a meeting of the secretaries of the security councils of OTS member states in Baku to preparing a roadmap through 2027 for defense industry cooperation and launching initiatives aimed at preserving shared cultural heritage.
Bayramov emphasized that four meetings held in 2026 contributed to enhancing political dialogue and coordination on regional and global challenges.
“Azerbaijan is committed to translating our shared vision into concrete results, making full use of the OTS's capabilities, and strengthening our partnership for peace and prosperity, as well as our collective voice on the international stage,” the minister said.
