Como could demand over €100M for Nico Paz

Italian club Como does not plan to sell midfielder Nico Paz during the January transfer window, despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

Operativ Media reports, citing TEAMtalk, that the club—competing in the Champions League for the first time in its history—considers the 22-year-old one of its key players and does not intend to negotiate his transfer this winter.

It is reported that Como could demand more than €100 million to agree to the Argentine midfielder's sale. However, Real Madrid's buy-back clause in the contract complicates matters, as the Madrid club can re-sign the player in the summer of 2027 for €80 million.

Como purchased Paz's contract last summer for €60 million. The player's agreement with the club runs until June 30, 2028.

Nico Paz has scored five goals and provided six assists in 11 appearances during the 2026/2027 season.

The Transfermarkt portal values the 22-year-old midfielder at €80 million.
