Turkish Media Delegation Visits Agdam Industrial Park
A delegation of Turkish media representatives visiting Azerbaijan has toured the Agdam Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA) under the Ministry of Economy.
The agency told Operativ Media that the visitors were briefed on ongoing projects at the park and the benefits offered to investors.
To date, 30 business entities with a total planned investment of nearly 300 million manats have been granted resident status, alongside four non-resident entrepreneurs. Investors have so far poured over 177 million manats into the industrial park, creating 1,230 permanent jobs. Currently, 12 enterprises are operational, 12 are under construction, and 10 others are in the design phase.
Agdam Industrial Park produces construction materials, metal products, electrical distribution equipment, roofing and facade coverings, wallpaper, specialized work footwear, concrete substations, and other goods. During the first six months of 2026, park residents generated 976 million manats in product sales, with exports accounting for 42 million manats of the total.
During the trip, the Turkish media representatives observed the production processes firsthand at operating facilities across the park.
