Amending the constitution of Armenia is the primary condition for peace.

Operativ Media reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the statement during a joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson Ignazio Cassis.

"Territorial claims against Azerbaijan must be removed from Armenia's constitution. De facto peace has currently been established between Azerbaijan and Armenia. As for the peace agreement, Azerbaijan's position remains the same: a peace treaty will only be possible if territorial claims against Azerbaijan are excised from the Armenian constitution," the minister noted.
