Nigerian forward arrives in Baku for Qarabag
Qarabag has brought in a new forward.
Operativ Media reports that Victor Ani Chidioke, a forward from Nigeria's Mailantarki Care, has arrived in Baku.
The 18-year-old striker will undergo a trial with the Aghdam club. A contract will be signed if the young player makes a positive impression.
Mailantarki Care director Adamu Usman Ahmed, who is accompanying Chidioke in Azerbaijan, expressed strong confidence that the transfer will go through:
"After watching Victor's performances in domestic and international matches, Qarabag's sporting director took a liking to the tall (187 cm) forward. This transfer will kick-start Chidioke's bright professional career in Europe. He is a forward who possesses incredible concentration and clinical finishing in front of goal. Considering Victor's height and physical power, he will become one of the most successful graduates of Mailantarki Care."
