​Manchester City midfielder Rodri will continue his career at Barcelona.

​Operativ Media reports that a contract running until the summer of 2030 has been signed with the 30-year-old Spanish footballer.

​According to foreign media reports, the Blaugrana paid the English side €70 million for the transfer, with various bonus payments also included in the agreement.

​The experienced player had played for Manchester City since the summer of 2019. During that time, he made 298 appearances in all competitions for the team, scoring 28 goals and providing 32 assists.

​Having previously played in La Liga, the midfielder formerly represented Villarreal and Atletico Madrid. Rodri won the Ballon d'Or award as the world's best footballer in 2024.
