Sardar Azmayee, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, announced that a US unmanned reconnaissance vessel was hit in the Strait of Hormuz.

Operativ Media reports that a US military "Saildrone" unmanned reconnaissance vessel was targeted in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC commander stated that the Strait of Hormuz is closed and under the intelligence surveillance and "smart control" of Iranian forces.

"Any hostile action will be targeted," Azmayee emphasized.
