US President Donald Trump has expressed hope that the crisis between Russia and Ukraine will be resolved very soon.

Operativ Media reports that Trump made these remarks during a speech in North Carolina.

The US leader said intensive work is being done to reach a settlement between Russia and Ukraine. He noted that he has resolved eight conflicts so far, but the Russia-Ukraine conflict is the most difficult one.

According to Trump, the Ukraine crisis is driving up diesel fuel prices.

The US President added that he believes all of this will come to an end very soon.
