Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Anton Kovalsky as acting prosecutor general.
Operativ Media reports that this was announced in a decree published on Zelenskyy's website.
According to the decree, Anton Anatolyevich Kovalsky will serve as the acting prosecutor general of Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko's Telegram channel, Kovalsky previously served as the prosecutor of the Khmelnytskyi region.
It was reported that following Ruslan Kravchenko's departure abroad and his removal from office, it was unclear for several days who was serving as Ukraine's acting prosecutor general. To clarify the matter, a parliamentary committee summoned the leadership of the Prosecutor General's Office to a meeting.
