The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has expressed condolences to Kazakhstan.

Operativ Media reports that the ministry shared a post on its X social media account.

The ministry expressed deep sadness over the tragic loss of life during military exercises conducted by the Kazakh Navy in the Caspian Sea:

"We express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased servicemen, as well as to the brotherly people and government of Kazakhstan. May God have mercy on those who lost their lives and grant strength and patience to their families during these difficult days. We hope for the safe rescue of those currently missing and wish a speedy recovery to the injured serviceman."
