Foreign Ministry: Victory Day Symbol of Our National Solidarity, Statehood, and Faith in Future

Operativ Media reports that the message was posted on the official X account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The statement noted that the unprecedented heroism displayed by the Azerbaijani army during the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020, under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, and the historic victory achieved became a triumph of the national will, unity, and unwavering resolve of the Azerbaijani people:
"This glorious victory was the most vital milestone on the historical path toward restoring Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Victory Day is a symbol of our national solidarity, our commitment to statehood, and our faith in the future. Today, as a victorious state, Azerbaijan resolutely continues its efforts to strengthen lasting peace, stability, and cooperation in the region.
On this sacred day, we honor with deep respect the cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, and express our profound gratitude to our veterans and all war participants for their selflessness.
