Victory Museum to be established in Khankendi

The location of the Victory Museum to be established in the city of Khankendi has been revealed.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev mentioned this in his address to the Azerbaijani people on Victory Day.

The head of state said: "I am delivering these congratulatory remarks in Khankendi, in front of the Victory Arch. This is the second victory arch erected in honor of our glorious Victory. The first is in Baku, and the second is here, in Khankendi. A Victory Museum also operates next to the Victory Arch in Baku. The name of each of our martyrs is engraved in that museum. There will be a Victory Museum in Khankendi as well. Final finishing touches on the creation of the Victory Museum are already underway. Its location is the former executive authority building, which was once the cradle of aggression and occupational policy against Azerbaijan. It was a devil's nest."
