Pakistani Prime Minister Congratulates Azerbaijan

November 8 stands as a historical testament to the courage, determination, and selflessness of the Azerbaijani people, who succeeded in restoring their country's territorial integrity after nearly three decades.

Operativ Media reports that Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif wrote this on his X account.

"On the sixth anniversary of Victory Day, I extend my most sincere congratulations to my dear brother, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, as well as to the brave and brotherly people of Azerbaijan. Pakistan was proud to stand by Azerbaijan at that time and will always support it. The Victory Day parade held in Baku last year, which I had the honor of attending alongside President Ilham Aliyev, clearly demonstrated the unwavering bonds of friendship between our nations," he noted.

The prime minister also wished Azerbaijan future development and new successes, and expressed his hopes for lasting peace and progress toward shared prosperity in the South Caucasus.
