Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov addressed the 25th Annual Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

It was noted that the minister emphasized how Azerbaijan, through long-term strategic investments and sustainable regional partnerships, has successfully transformed its landlocked geographical position into a key logistics, transit, and energy hub connecting the East-West and North-South corridors.

Jeyhun Bayramov noted the necessity of transit digitalization, simplified customs procedures, and integrated energy-digital connectivity such as the "Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor." He emphasized that linking transport, energy, and digital infrastructure creates a more resilient global trade architecture.

Emphasizing that peace is an indispensable prerequisite for sustainable connectivity, he highlighted the Washington agreements signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia on August 8, 2025, and the TRIPP initiative, which will expand regional and global transit networks.
