The importance of simplifying and expediting transit through Bilasuvar customs has been highlighted.

According to Operativ Media, the Governor of Ardabil Province, Masoud Imami Yeganeh, visited the Bilasuvar border-customs checkpoint alongside Iran's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilu, an MP representing Parsabad, Bilasuvar, and Aslanduz in the Iranian Parliament, and the governor's deputies for construction and economic affairs.

During the visit, officials reviewed the current traffic flow of trucks carrying export, import, and transit goods, as well as the overall operations and services provided at Bilasuvar customs.

The delegation also exchanged views on streamlining and accelerating the clearance process for freight vehicles from both countries during the inspection of the Bilasuvar border-customs post.
