Negotiations over the transfer of Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Aleksey Batrakov to Galatasaray are reportedly in their final stages.

Operativ Media reports that football insider Erdem Açıkgöz shared the update on X (formerly Twitter).

According to the report, the 21-year-old Russian midfielder has agreed to join the Istanbul side. The parties are currently finalizing terms between the club and the player's representative. Should the negotiations wrap up successfully, Batrakov will become Galatasaray's second signing of the summer transfer window.

However, Lokomotiv management told the publication Sport-Express on August 2 that they have not received an official offer from the Turkish club for Batrakov.

Batrakov has been playing for Lokomotiv's senior team since January 2024, and his current contract with the Moscow club runs through June 30, 2029.
