The asking price has been revealed for James Eto'o, a midfielder for Bulgarian club CSKA who is on Qarabag's transfer shortlist.

​Operativ Media reports, citing Bulgarian outlet Tema Sport, that the Sofia-based club's management is demanding at least €2,000,000 for the Cameroonian player.

​The report noted that because extending his contract with the "Red-Blacks" through the end of the 2028–29 season has strengthened the club's negotiating position, the possibility of demanding an even higher fee from the Aghdam club cannot be ruled out.

​The Bulgarian side previously eliminated Qarabag in the second qualifying round of the Europa League (0-0, 0-0, 5-4 on penalties), with Eto'o converting the decisive spot-kick in the shootout.
