Tottenham forward Richarlison is considering terminating his remaining contract with the London club through court action.
Operativ Media reports, citing The Athletic.
The Brazilian player was previously excluded from Tottenham's Premier League squad list for the 2026/27 season. According to reports, Richarlison himself informed the management of his desire to leave the team, after which the club did not register him for the season.
It is reported that a new team could not be found for the player. Currently, the 29-year-old forward and his representatives are exploring the possibility of taking legal action to terminate the remainder of his contract.
Richarlison has been playing for Tottenham since the summer of 2022. His contract with the London club runs until June 2027.
The Brazilian forward scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions last season. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at 25 million euros.
