A 10-year agreement has been signed between Lithuania and the US-based EQT Corporation for the supply of natural gas. 

The Lithuanian Ministry of Energy released information on the matter, Operativ Media reports.

It was stated that the agreement signed with EQT Corporation provides for the annual supply of approximately 1 TWh of gas between 2027 and 2036.

According to the ministry, this amount covers 40% of Lithuania's natural gas needs.
