An unidentified individual opened fire in front of a high school in the Turgutlu district of Turkey's Manisa province, injuring several students.

According to preliminary reports, five students were injured and one person was killed in the shooting.

The incident took place in front of the İnci Üzməz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

Numerous police and medical teams have been dispatched to the area.
