The opening ceremony of the "Power of Unity - 2026" joint military exercise, featuring service members from Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan, has been held.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Defense to Operativ Media, the national anthems of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan were played during the official part of the event, which took place at the "Gizilgaya" Training Center in the Khojavand district.

Speakers at the ceremony emphasized the importance of such exercises in expanding cooperation between the armies of the three countries, improving the practical skills of the units, exchanging experience, strengthening friendly relations among personnel, and ensuring interoperability during joint missions, wishing the participants success.

This was followed by a ceremonial march-past of the participating service members in front of the reviewing stand.

Finally, a concert program was presented by the song and dance ensemble of the Hazi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center.
