Armenia is ready to continue and deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of demining.

Operativ Media reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during his address at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The prime minister also identified clarifying the fate of several thousand missing persons as one of the unresolved issues, adding that an agreement has been reached to cooperate with Azerbaijan in this area.

Pashinyan emphasized that strengthening peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and reinforcing its institutional foundations must become the primary focus of cooperation between the two sides.
