Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov described his meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha as productive for advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Bayramov shared details of the meeting in a post on X, Operativ Media reports.

"We held productive talks on strengthening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, with a special focus on expanding cooperation in the political, economic, energy, transport, and humanitarian spheres," Bayramov emphasized.

Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues.

"Our countries are bound by a strategic partnership based on the principles of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation," the Azerbaijani foreign minister noted.
