On September 16, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, attended the official opening ceremony of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, held under the motto "Building Consensus for Stability, Co-promoting Security Governance."

The Beijing Xiangshan Forum, which facilitates dialogue and cooperation on international security issues, is considered one of the most important platforms for strengthening trust and mutual understanding among nations, as well as for the peaceful resolution of regional and global security challenges.

The forum, which brings together defense chiefs from more than 100 countries, representatives of international organizations and think tanks, as well as high-ranking military officials and prominent military and security experts, will run until September 17.
