Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe must pay €60,000 in compensation to PSG following a ruling by the Paris Court of Appeal.

Operativ Media reports, citing L'Equipe. The ruling is related to a precautionary measure that the player's representatives had placed on PSG's bank accounts.

After leaving the Paris club in August 2024, Mbappe demanded the payment of more than €60 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. The following year, the player took the matter to a labor court.

His representatives also initiated a procedure to freeze €55 million in PSG's accounts as a security measure. This measure was in effect from April 10 to May 25, 2025.

The main dispute in court centered around this security measure. PSG argued that freezing the accounts threatened the club's ability to meet its financial obligations to sports governing bodies, noting that this could lead to disciplinary sanctions by FIFA, including a ban on registering new players.

Taking into account the circumstances of the case, the court ordered Mbappe to pay PSG €60,000 in compensation for the 45-day freezing of the accounts.
