Ursula von der Leyen: EU to restrict social media access for children under 15
Şəfa Hüseynli
The European Commission will present the "EU Children's Rights Act" tomorrow, which aims to protect children by gradually restricting their use of social media.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced this, Operativ Media reports.
Under the initiative, social media use will be banned for children under 13, while access for those under 15 will be restricted.
"Europe has the power to act. We set the rules, not big tech companies," von der Leyen said.
