Azerbaijani oil budget price to be $65
The price of a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil has been set at $65 for the preparation of Azerbaijan's 2027 consolidated and state budget drafts.
Operativ Media reported this based on the "Statement on Preliminary Indicators of the 2027 State and Consolidated Budgets" document released by the Ministry of Finance.
This figure remains unchanged from 2026.
"With the average annual sale price of a barrel of crude oil projected at $65, state budget revenues are forecast at 39 billion 234.0 million manats, or 27.8 percent of GDP. Of this total, 39.5 percent, or 15 billion 480.0 million manats, is expected to come from the oil and gas sector, while 60.5 percent, or 23 billion 754.0 million manats, is projected to come from the non-oil and gas sector," the statement noted.
