All five people on board a Cessna T206 aircraft that crashed in Colombia have died.

Operativ Media reports that Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella announced this on the social network X.

The aircraft, with registration number HK-4985, disappeared from radar on the morning of September 13 during a flight to Bogota.

"Unfortunately, authorities confirmed that everyone on board was found dead," the president said.
