During his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, US President Donald Trump touched upon the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Operativ Media reports that Trump stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had expressed positive views about his efforts.

“The President of Azerbaijan told me that President Trump worked miracles within six months, and no one even thought this would happen,” the US President noted.

Trump also stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of his personal involvement in the process.

“The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that if President Trump had not personally gotten involved in this matter, this breakthrough would not have been possible,” Trump said.
