We wish for the establishment of lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Operativ Media reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

He stated that Turkey's vision for the South Caucasus is clear.

“We wish for the establishment of lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We appreciate and support the will for a resolution demonstrated by President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. We are also resolutely continuing the normalization process we are conducting with Armenia,” Erdogan said.
