Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared the update on X, Operativ Media reports.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral agenda, the regional and international security situation, as well as prospects for strengthening peace and stability.

The ministers exchanged views on current geopolitical developments, the importance of adhering to the principles of international law, and the role of constructive dialogue in resolving conflicts.

The importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing security challenges and promoting lasting peace was also emphasized.
