9 killed in US plane crash

Nine people were killed when a Learjet business jet crashed in Greenacres, Florida.

Operativ Media reports that US Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy posted about the incident on the social network X.

According to the secretary, the aircraft took off from Austin, Texas, bound for the Bahamas. All nine people on board died in the crash.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in coordination with the Department of Transportation, is investigating the cause of the accident.

Meanwhile, there is currently no information on whether anyone on the ground was killed or injured.
