Trump: US Gathers Intelligence on Russia and China

U.S. President Donald Trump said his country gathers intelligence on Russia and China, adding that those nations engage in similar activities against the United States.

Operativ Media reports that Trump made the remarks at a rally before Republican Party supporters in Iowa ahead of the congressional midterm elections.

The American leader noted that he is not concerned about China and Russia collecting intelligence on the U.S., stating that Washington carries out the same activities against those countries.

During his speech, Trump said he was responding to criticism directed at him regarding China spying on the U.S. He claimed that the United States operates more effectively in this field than its rivals.

The U.S. President did not specify what type of intelligence gathering he was referring to. He also did not disclose who he discussed the issue with or when.
