The average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in Azerbaijan rose by 7.2% year-on-year in January-July of this year to reach 1,177 manats.

According to the committee, the highest average monthly nominal wages were recorded in the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, information and communication, professional, scientific, and technical activities, as well as the transportation and warehousing sectors.
