Hosting Baku Climate Week is a sign of trust in Azerbaijan's role in the climate agenda and the legacy of COP29.

Operativ Media reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in a statement to journalists at the high-level opening ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week in Baku.

The minister noted that more than 2,700 participants from 140 countries are attending the event, with over 60 events scheduled to take place.

Jeyhun Bayramov stated that close cooperation is underway between Azerbaijan and Turkey as part of preparations for COP31, which will be held in Antalya. He emphasized that Azerbaijan will continue to provide this support.
