The annual performance indicators of SOCAR's Ethylene-Polyethylene plant have been announced. 

Operativ Media reports that this was announced during a media tour organized to the plant.

According to the information, the facility produces 190,000 tons of ethylene, 187,000 tons of propylene, and 120,000 tons of polyethylene annually.

Information about the plant's energy and production capacity was also provided during the media tour:

"The 'Polymir-120' technological line operating at the facility is responsible for high-pressure processing of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and has an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons. In the facility's self-power generation unit, combined steam-electric generators operate, generating 480 tons of steam per hour."

It was noted that the plant's electricity generation capacity is 68 megawatts. Approximately 20 megawatts of this is used for internal needs, while the remainder is transmitted to the power grid. At the same time, a portion of the produced steam is supplied to SOCAR Polymer.

It was reported that the Azerikimya Production Union receives five types of raw materials within SOCAR. These include naphtha, LPG, PPF, and dry gas received from the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, as well as natural gasoline obtained from the Gas Processing Plant located in Garadagh.
