PSG are making good progress in talks to sign a new contract with forward Desire Doue, dealing a blow to Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City's hopes of signing the French footballer.

Operativ Media reports, citing TEAMtalk, that negotiations over a contract extension with the 21-year-old footballer are advancing. The Parisian club intends to secure a long-term deal with Doue. Although the agreement has not yet been finalized, PSG remains determined to keep the young forward.

Doue's current contract runs until the summer of 2029. He has scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists in 12 appearances during the 2026/27 season.

According to the source, English Premier League clubs have been monitoring the player's situation to strengthen their attack. However, the French player reportedly does not want to leave Paris and is ready to commit his future to PSG.

German club Bayern Munich is also interested in Doue. The Munich side failed to sign the footballer when he transferred from Rennes to PSG in 2024.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates the 21-year-old forward's market value at €120 million.
