The 2028 UEFA Super Cup match will be held at the Astana Arena in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Operativ Media reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Astana Arena is the home stadium for FC Astana and the Kazakhstan national team. The arena has a capacity of 30,200.

This will mark the first time a UEFA club tournament Super Cup match is held in Kazakhstan.

The 2028 Super Cup will feature the winners of the 2027/28 Champions League and Europa League. Meanwhile, the 2027 Super Cup match is scheduled to take place at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.

It was also announced today that the 2028 Champions League final will be held in Munich. Bucharest will host the Europa League final that same year, while Belgrade will host it in 2029.
