President: We have never waged war against civilians, it is contrary to our people's mentality

During the Second Karabakh War, we only targeted military formations. Unlike Armenia, we have never waged war against unarmed civilians.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during a meeting in Baku with participants of international conferences.

“This is contrary to both the mentality and traditions of our people. Even during the war, I said that we must take our revenge on the battlefield, and we did so in full. The blood of our martyrs did not go unavenged,” the head of state added.
