Although there is no threat of rain or extreme temperatures during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, strong winds are expected to be one of the main challenges for Formula 1 drivers.

Operativ Media reports that weather conditions during the race weekend in Baku could affect the performance of teams and drivers. Strong winds are expected to impact track conditions, as the current generation of Formula 1 cars is highly sensitive to sudden wind changes.

On Thursday, the weather is forecast to be mostly partly cloudy with temperatures around 30°C. Wind speeds are expected to reach 17 km/h during the day and up to 50 km/h at night.

On Friday, temperatures are expected to drop to 25°C, with winds reaching their peak for the weekend. Northerly winds blowing at 40-55 km/h are projected to directly affect track conditions.

On Saturday, the day of the race, mostly sunny weather and temperatures of 27°C are forecast. Wind speeds are expected to decrease to 15-30 km/h, but will continue to affect the race.
