The Azerbaijani national para-judo team will compete in the World Championship to be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on September 25-27.

The National Paralympic Committee told Operativ Media that the men's competition will feature Ilham Zakiyev (J1, +95 kg), Saleh Sultanov (J1, 81 kg), Ismayil Muradov (J1, 70 kg), and Huseyn Ismayilzade (J2, 70 kg), while Dursadaf Karimova (J2, +70 kg) and Khatira Ismiyeva (J1, +70 kg) will compete in the women's division.

The para-judokas' preparation for the competition will be led by head coaches Ibrahim Ibrahimov and Ramin Ibrahimov.
