Azerbaijan to Chair Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State

Azerbaijan will chair the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia in 2027.

Operativ Media reports that President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced this at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia in Avaza.

This will be Azerbaijan's first time chairing the event.

The 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia was held on October 8, 2026, in Turkmenbashi (Avaza), Turkmenistan.
