Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Media and Broadcasting Council, has met with a delegation led by Ferhat Pirincci, Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

This was reported to Operativ Media by the Media and Broadcasting Council.

During the meeting, Ismayilov emphasized the importance of the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of media and communication.

The sides noted the importance of cooperation in expanding the mutual exchange of experience in this field within the modern information environment, as well as strengthening joint efforts to combat disinformation.

Pirincci spoke about the new opportunities created by digital transformation in the media and communication sectors. The importance of effectively implementing new media tools, developing modern communication approaches, and expanding professional relations and joint initiatives between media representatives of the two countries was also emphasized.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on opportunities for a coordinated approach to modern information challenges and other issues of mutual interest.
