The "State Program for the Development of the Mining (Metal Ores) and Metallurgy Industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030" has been approved.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.

1. The "State Program for the Development of the Mining (Metal Ores) and Metallurgy Industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030" (hereinafter referred to as the State Program) shall be approved (attached).

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

2.1. shall coordinate and monitor the implementation of the measures envisaged in the State Program;

2.2. shall report to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year on the status of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the State Program;

2.3. shall resolve other issues arising from this Decree.

3. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication shall carry out the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the State Program based on the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

4. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall take appropriate measures to allocate the necessary financial resources during the annual preparation of the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan and state investment programs for the purpose of funding the measures envisaged in the State Program.
